Say hello to your new benefits program.<\/p>\n<p>As a new member of the team here at Confluent, it\u2019s really important that you get to know the different ways the Confluent benefits program can go to work for you. Before you enroll, spend some quality time exploring this program so you can connect all of the ways you can benefit.<\/p>\n<p>And please keep these important deadlines in mind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">To be eligible for benefits coverage through Confluent, you must enroll within 14 days of your hire date.<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Benefits become effective on the date of premium receipt by carrier<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">If you do not enroll within the first 14 days from your hire date you may delay your medical insurance effective date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Follow these steps to make your onboarding experience a little easier\u2026 and let the benefits begin.<\/p>\n<h2>Onboarding made easy<\/h2>\n<p>Please visit the<a href=\"https:\/\/confluentinc.atlassian.net\/wiki\/spaces\/PEOPLE\/pages\/1241810436\/New+Employee+Orientation+NEO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Onboarding<\/a> wiki page [internal only] in the People Resource Center for more information around onboarding.<\/p>\n<h2>Who Is Eligible?<\/h2>\n<p>Benefits for you &amp; your family.<\/p>\n<p>Eligible employees can cover their immediate family members, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Your spouse<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Your domestic partner of the same or opposite sex<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Your children and your spouse\u2019s children (other than foster children), if they are not married or in any other formal union recognized by law, and are under age 21<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Your financially dependent child (not married or in a de-facto relationship) who is under age 32 and a full-time student attending an educational institution<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Your financially dependent child (not married or in a de-facto relationship) who is under age 32 and not a student (Family Plus)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Different eligibility guidelines may apply for other benefit plans and services available through Confluent.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb10640 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"fb10640\" data-element_type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New to Confluent?
