You will not be able to make changes to your coverage, unless you experience a qualified life event (QLE) as defined by the IRS, including such life events as:\n<ul>\n<li>Marriage, divorce, legal separation, or annulment<\/li>\n<li>Birth, legal adoption of child, placement for adoption, or permanent guardianship<\/li>\n<li>Death of a spouse or child<\/li>\n<li>A Qualified Medical Child Support Order<\/li>\n<li>A change in your spouse, domestic partner, or dependent\u2019s employment<\/li>\n<li>A loss or gain of group insurance coverage<\/li>\n<li>A dependent loses eligibility (divorce\/legal separation\/guardianship termination\/ceases to satisfy the requirements of eligibility due to age)<\/li>\n<li>A move that changes plan eligibility<\/li>\n<li>Dependent daycare change<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you experience such a qualified life event (QLE) during the year, you can change your benefits by logging into the Benefits Enrollment Center through Okta and clicking &#8220;Change Your Current Benefits.&#8221; This must be completed<span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>within 30 days of the life event.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Benefit changes will generally be effective first of the month following the event date. Birth, adoption, or placement events will be the effective date of the event (birth\/adoption\/placement).
