As a new member of the team here at Confluent, it’s really important that you get to know the different ways the Confluent benefits program can go to work for you. Before you enroll, spend some quality time exploring this program so you can connect all of the ways you can benefit. Who is Eligible?

If you are a regular full-time employee at Confluent Spain with a valid work contract and work at least 30 hours per week, you’re eligible for Confluent’s healthcare-related plans. These include:

  • Medical and prescription drug coverage
  • Dental and vision care
  • Virtual care services
  • Pretax spending accounts

You can also cover your qualified dependents, provided their information is submitted to Cigna before any treatments begin.

Eligible dependents include:

  • Your spouse
  • Your domestic partner (same or opposite sex)
  • Your dependent children up to age 26 (regardless of marital status), including natural, step, adopted, or placed-for-adoption children, or those for whom you or your spouse are legal guardians
  • Unmarried children age 26 or older who are mentally or physically disabled and rely on you for support
  • Children of a domestic partner (same or opposite sex), up to age 26

Other benefits may have different eligibility guidelines.

Enrollment essentials

To be eligible for benefits coverage, you must enroll within your first week of employment. Coverage begins on the first of the month following your hire date. Missing this deadline may delay your medical insurance start date.

Quick steps to enroll:

  • Explore your benefit options and confirm eligibility
  • Review plans, services, and costs on the benefits site
  • Contact providers directly via the vendor directory
  • Complete the CIGNA Employee Enrollment Data Form
  • Add eligible dependents and beneficiaries in Workday
  • Submit your medical history form

You’ll receive a welcome email with an e-card, benefit schedule, and member guide shortly after enrollment. Physical ID cards may take up to 4 weeks.
