Time Off

Time for you to relax, refuel, re-whatever.

We offer 20 days of paid time off.

A full time employees are entitled to 12 days of sick leave each calendar year.

  • All eligible female Employees are entitled to 26 weeks maternity leave with full pay to include the period before and after the delivery.
  • All eligible female Employees with two (2) or more surviving children are entitled to 16 weeks of maternity leave with wages (of which not more than six (6) weeks shall precede the expected date of delivery).

Confluent offers six (6) weeks of paid paternity leave so that fathers can take time off work to bond with their new baby or child.

  • For Immediate family: When a death occurs in an Employee’s immediate family, we offer our Employees up to ten (10) days off with pay to attend the funeral and/or assist with funeral arrangements. For the purposes of this policy, immediate family members are an Employee’s spouse, parents, step parents, siblings, children, step children, grandparents, parents-in-law, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, or grandchildren.
  • For Non-immediate family: Confluent also offers up to five (5) days off with pay to attend the funeral of a non-immediate family member.

A female Employee who legally adopts a child below the age of three (3) months or a commissioning mother (who uses her egg to create an embryo to be implanted in another woman), shall also be entitled to leave with wages for a period of 12 weeks from the date the child is handed over to the adopting mother or the commissioning mother, as the case may be.
