Life Changes

Major life changes can impact all of us in so many different ways—including our healthcare and financial benefits. Take time to explore how big changes in your life—like getting married, having a baby, adopting a child, retiring and others—can also affect your healthcare, insurance and other benefits coverage and decisions.

A rule of thumb: it’s good information to know.

Consider the following

  • Add your new baby as an eligible family member for coverage in your Confluent benefit plans.
    • Remember, to enroll your new baby in the medical insurance plan, you must make this change by submitting an event in Workday within 30 days of their birth. If you do not, you may need to wait to add your new addition to your coverage.
    • Once the event is in Workday please ensure you complete the Vitality enrollment form with the new dependent(s) information and upload that to the Workday task.
    • Consider revising your beneficiary designations for your Confluent life insurance coverage to include your new baby. This can be updated through Workday.
