As a new member of the team here at Confluent, it’s really important that you get to know the different ways the Confluent benefits program can go to work for you. Before you enroll, spend some quality time exploring this program so you can connect all of the ways you can benefit.

And please keep these important deadlines in mind:

  • To be eligible for benefits coverage through Confluent, you must enroll within 14 days of your hire date.
  • Benefits become effective on your date of hire.
  • If you do not enroll within the first 14 days from your hire date you may delay your medical insurance effective date. 

Follow these steps to make your onboarding experience a little easier… and let the benefits begin.

Quick steps for enrolling

Explore your choices.

  • Confirm who is eligible for benefits coverage through Confluent.
  • Dive deeper into this site to explore Confluent’s plans, services, costs, and your choices.
  • Contact our benefits providers directly—visit our benefits vendor directory for each provider’s website and toll-free number.

Enroll in your benefits by the deadline

  • Connect with plans and services designed to meet your personal, family, and financial needs.
  • To enroll in benefits, log into Workday through your Okta dashboard. Find your New Hire Enrollment Event by going to your Workday inbox.
  • You must complete your enrollment within 14 days of your date of hire.

Add your eligible dependents, beneficiaries and completed medical history form — and start benefiting

  • If you’re enrolling dependents, make sure their information is reflected correctly in Workday.
  • You will receive a welcome email with an e-card, benefit schedule and member guide within 7 to 10 working days of your enrollment being processed.

Who Is Eligible?

Benefits for you & your family.

If you are a regular full-time employee at Confluent and work at least 20 hours per week, you’re eligible for Confluent’s insurance plans on your date of hire.

If you’re eligible, you can also cover your qualified dependents for these benefits. Eligible dependents include:

  • Your spouse
  • Your domestic partner of the same or opposite sex
  • Your children and your spouse’s children (other than foster children), if they are not married or in any other formal union recognized by law, and are under age 21
  • Your financially dependent child who is under age 25 and a full-time student attending an educational institution
  • Your children and/or your spouse’s children who are mentally or physically disabled and who rely on you for support and care
  • Different eligibility guidelines may apply for other benefits plans and services available through Confluent.
